Hi friends. I came back with other strange creature. Recently I went to the jurassic formations of the north of my country. Cleaning invertebrate footprints appeared this: What´s that? What do you think?:

Ichnofossil (trace) of some sort would be my guess. If I had to venture out on a limb...I think it looks a lot like a sea anemone attachment point.

I'll join you on that limb, Joe.

I can't quite figure how it might have been made, though...it would be a "rest", rather than an attachment, and as such the anemone should have left marks in the sediment getting there, and leaving.

After enhancing the image contrast my interpretation is a plant seed.

Look closely at the margins as there is carbonized cuticle preserved.
