Auspex
Great one; a real dagger! What do you look for to distinguish feeding wear? Pool Man
I usually call the smooth rounded tip, feading wear. This one has all the serrations on the tip worn off,but no breakage.
Phoenixflood
Yeah, it look like it has feeding "wear"/damage as you say. Nice tooth. I don't know about everyone else but I get a little bummed when I find a tooth with bit of feeding damage. I guess My list goes like this: Perfect serrations, perfect root, perfect enamel, perfect tip Perfect serrations, perfect root, cracked enamel, perfect tip Perfect serrations, perfect root, cracked enamel, feeding damage Perfect serrations, cracked root, cracked enamel, broken tip. Broken serrations, cracked root, craked enamel, broken tip And finally what makes me the most unhappy: Perfect serrations, perfect root, perfect enamel, CRACKED RIGHT IN HALF!
