Fantastic Fossil Finds North Vancouver Island

Hey Fossil people,

This is my first post. I'm new to the fossil thing and hit it big on one of my first trips out. I found this collection in less than 4 hours on two different trips. They're not the best photo's so I gave just close ups of two. If there's any on the table that you want me to repost better photos of I can do so. I found them inbetween layers of Triassic rock, Quatsino Formation Limestone or Parson Bay. I think. I'm a noob. But I have a good eye for this I think.

Let me know what you think

Kevin.

Those are pretty cool, I haven't seen many good fossils from those exposures , so you have some great examples there. The second picture is a large gastropod and the the second and third pictures seem to be a nautiloid.

Great fossil hunting , keep up the search!!

Looks interesting, but better pics are necessary to id the fossils. Try to make the pics outside in natural light, or in the sun.
