TXTechdad Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Here are some interesting finds from a creek bed in Dallas, TX. There are all kinds of concretions in the area, and these could very well be just that. The first one seems to be some kind of sponge or coral? The second one looks like some sort of bone, but who knows: The third one is a lot larger. It has characteristics of nodules/concretions I have found (with little nuggets that come off) but it seems to also have a larger continuous solid surface (second image) as well as a 'spongy' side.
