Jersey Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 It looks like a sedimentary rock (as I see some subtle layered structure in the first photo) that is primarily shale or fine grained sandstone or siltstone that contains a small number of pebbles - some of which have fallen out leaving voids.
