TheMoth
I found this Mandible piece in a river in North Central Texas. I'm not quite sure what it's from (might just be a cow). But i would like it to be a Camelid or Bison at least haha. Thanks!

Uncle Siphuncle
could still be bison, i'm not sure. but the tip off for bovid is the stylid on the side of the tooth. the bone looks like it could have age, but bone color, density and other characteristics vary considerably based on age, ambient mineral content in surrounding sediments, etc. there is considerable overlap, confusion and debate over pleistocene vs holocene bone characteristics. all that said, north texas has its share of pleisto goodies which turn up at times.
