dennisgalcik
Hi all, I'm going to be in the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area this weekend. I'm going to try to escape for a few hours a day to do some poking around. Can anyone direct me to a spot or two in the area? So far all I have is Maconaqua, Pa. Fossil ledges. Any info would be great. Thanks, Dennis
Fossildude19
Have you scoped out this website, and looked at the Luzerne county entries? May be a place to start some research, at least. EDIT: Looks like Carbondale is to the north by about 45 minutes, ... and Beltzville or St.Clair are each south by about an hour. Good luck. Vordigern
whenever I visit Wilkes-Barre I always make a trip over to Carbondale with the kids, tons of fossils (quite litterally), easy to collect, and a great view.
