Hello guys!

My name is Marin, im from Croatia and im new to fossil forum.

Just this morning I was diving near Zadar, Croatia and I found this stone in shallow waters (maybe 1m deep) just as I was coming out. It had this mineralised exoskelet fossil on its surface. Im sorry for not using a scale in the image but I'll take another pic with one if necessary. By my own estimate it is 3-4 cm long.

I have no other info about it except the approximate stone size and weight.

Thanks for help!!

I agree with Squalicorax. Probably misses the water. :)

Hi,

Yes, recent chitons.

Yesterday I brought back some of the seaside. They live under stones.
