panamark
Posting this for a friend. Several of us have been wondering/discussing what the heck this is on another forum. Found in a Quincy, IL creek bed. More pictures and casts at http://www.flickr.com/photos/99955771@N03/ I am a real amateur, but know you guys are experts and this site is extremely educational and helpful. Appreciate any help. - Mark

Fossildude19
These are almost certainly molds of individual crinoid columnals, possible of the genus Platycrinites. Thanks Carl! I was going nuts - I knew I'd seen this type of fossil recently on the forum, but couldn't remember where, or what it was! Carl
My pleasure! There was a conversation earlier this month about them that you should be able to find by searching Platycrinites.
