I found this arrowhead hunting tonight. Our area does not currently have any critters this size, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is neither an arrowhead, nor is it a carnivore tooth. It is the terminal phalanx of a deer - that is, the bone inside the hoof.

It is all about search image. I started out my career as an archaeologist, and could spot a potsherd or a flaked point from 50 feet away. I never saw any fossils. Later, I moved over to paleontology, I can now spot a rodent tooth from 20 feet - and I haven't seen an arrowhead or a potsherd in many years!
