Need Id - Crab

Hi ,

Last Friday i went to Spain , to Alicante.

My Brother and i found tihs white crab with 3x3 cm at the beach but what i want to know is the name of the speciem . I search at some books that i have and i didn´t discover nothing : (

If anyone could help i really appreciate.

Your photos are a little fuzzy but it looks similar to Daira speciosa.

TFF member MB has a great website with many crabs from Spain.

Hi all,

I must to say that the figured Daira speciosa comes from the Langhian of Ukraine, and the Alicante ones are Messinian in age.

Also, don't worry if you see that the arms have been added and glued from different isolated chelae with invented dactylus, when you say "at the beach.." that mean in the " souvenirs chiringuito" ?
