Hi, I am a new member and was wondering if anyone could positively ID these fossils and fragments. I found them in South Carolina while digging for Meg teeth. I really don't know, but they resemble: 1. femur tip? 2. finger bone? (bird, raptor?) 3. talon? 4. beak? 5. wing imprint? fin? 6. tooth unknown? 7. tooth unknown?

Any and all info would help. I am enjoying the forum and thanks to all the members!

thanks! Sorry my pictures weren't loading. I got a couple on there, but they aren't the best. Let me know if anyone needs a better look.

They are a little hard to see but I'll take a stab at 3 and 6.To me it looks like a lower Hemi and lower Mako partial.

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

item 3 does look like a tooth to me, could be lower hemi as jcb suggested. #6 is a tooth blade, probably some type of mako. 1,2,4,5 and 7 I have no clue, probably pieces of something larger and honestly may never be able to be ID'd.

#4 appears to be a broken peripheral bone from a turtle.

The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".

Hi Everyone, Here are some detailed pics of the unknown fossils I found while looking for Meg teeth. I am really curious about the small wing or fin looking thing and the beak. Any and all info is appreciated.

Thanks!
