PennyT.
Hello, I'm thinking folks will ask if you would submit clearer photos, Perhaps put it on a flat, well-lit surface and reshoot it so it's not so blurry. good luck with the i.d. There are many knowledgeable people on this site to help you. Penny
howard_l
You might try a few things to help identify what mineral you might have, check its hardness by scratching it or see if it scratches a penny, steel knife, or glass. Put a little vinegar on it and see if it fizzes. A little clearer photos could help. Howard_L http://triloman.wix.com/kentucky-fossils
Auspex
Where it was found is important information, too.
