Phadley Posted November 25, 2013 Author Share Posted November 25, 2013 Oh, thank you! I just looked up Trigonia spp.! I think it may be. But it has a long extension to the distal shell tips, and a very thick, coiled umbo! I'm hoping its a new species! The area I collected it is quite remote. The ammonite is an asymmetric one with a loose coil. I haven't tried to key it out yet, but sure it is in the very extensive keys I have, and yes, it is the same as in my avatar!
