Missourian
Yes. Pharkodonotus can be id'd by the knobby ridge around the middle. Context is critical.

Jeffrey P
Since it was found in a coal mine I wonder if it's a freshwater gastropod. Any associated fossils?
Missourian
Since it was found in a coal mine I wonder if it's a freshwater gastropod. Any associated fossils? It's most likely from a marine unit. In Pennsylvanian cycles, there can be marine and non-marine beds within inches of each other. Context is critical. Hi Jeffrey, Missourian is right , marine and non-marine at the same locality. Found some nice ferns there the same day and previously found two nice trilo pygidiums. Happy Holidays!
