Fossilized Nut, Concretion Or ?

Hello, found this little guy in the Mojave Desert. It is likely a concretion but wanted to get some other opinions on this one. The odd circular center is what is puzzling me.

Couple of photos, let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Eric

...yes looks like a type of concretion. I find a lot where I am, seems that they start "growing" from a core center. By "growing" I mean building up layer upon layer. Here's some of mine from both sidespost-13912-0-47245500-1388609330_thumb.jpgpost-13912-0-94357700-1388609375_thumb.jpg....
