AeroMike
Well, I was setting up my scope and light to start work again on my knightia fish after family have finally left and I was moving my optical light box that has two 24" fiber optic arms. I opened up and removed the bulb to clean everything out but dropped the bulb and it broke. So I went online and ordered some new bulbs but they are not as bright as the one I had in there although it says it was the same power. Right now I have that light and one of my dive lights shining on the fish but I would light to find the correct bulbs. The illuminator is a 150W Y-Optical Fiber Optic Halogen Illuminator 150W 24V Halogen bulb So I purchased a 4 piece 150W 24V HALOGEN BULB FOR MICROSCOPE ILLUMINATOR and these are NOT as bright as the original one. ***UPDATE*** I now have my illuminator bulb issue fixed. I still, however would like opinions on purchasing a 144 LED Ring Light Adjustable illuminator Lamp for Stereo Microscope but is this worth it??????
