NZ_Fossil_Collecta
i recently purchased this small piece off ebay for $8.00 US dollars, it has one small insect in it (as far as i can tell from the pics) and was sold from Germany. i don't know what it is but i have pictures included and it seems to have some sort of wing. any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm CRAZY about amber fossils and just as CRAZY in general.
Bullsnake
It kind of looks like an ant to me. The 'wing' may be a bubble. Do you see any venation to conclude that it is a wing? Steve
Taogan
Can't see it too clearly but looking at the price as well it is probably what German dealers call Pilzmucke, a sciarid fly. If it's anything else the price tends to go up.
