I.d. Help. Shark/whale Disc,echinoid,sand Dollar ?

Found in Montana. We can not figure it out. I will post at Montana too. The hole comes in at an angle. Odd for a disc.

But there are no 5 star patterns for echinoidal. Thanks for any input.

Hi Jim The photos in this post look just like the ones in your first post. I don't think it is a fossil at all. It looks like a concretion not a vertebre, disk, echinoid or sand dollar. the hole could have been made by a lot of things, it could be clay that harden and some thing made the hole in it. George
