I.d. Help Please. Vertebrae Disc ? Echinoid/sand Dollar?

Can't figure it out. Looks similar to a primitive echinoid. Thanks in advance. Jim

It's not an echinoid. I don't think it is a fossil.

i vote rock, not echinoid. primitive echs still have distinct plate detail.

1. Its almost perfectly symmetrical, almost like an artifact.

2. Concretion? The cracks look like a concretion.

Wow. Thanks for the inputs. Surprises me that you guys think it may not be a fossil. What is a concretion ?

I agree about the plate detail Dan. It should have some echinoidal patterns.
