Fossiltooth

Recommended Posts

My daughter and I found this on Barefoot Beach near Naples, Florida. It looks like a very worn shark tooth but because of the wear, it doesn't have serrated edges. Any ideas?

I think it is a water-worn chunk of oyster shell.

Yep, agree with the previous comments; def not a shark tooth, and you can see the typical surface features of an oyster shell if you look close.
