4 Tiny Teeth From This Weekend

Recommended Posts

I dug for 3 days in a row this weekend but didn't have much luck. Stormy weather, high water level in the river and chilly winds didn't help.

I did find 4 little mammal teeth. Wondering if the top tooth in the photo could be manatee. I'm attaching a side photo of it; it is not very thick from chewing surface to root line. I think the second tooth in bottom row is dolphin.

Not bad at all. I would agree with your ID's Dolphin, Manatee, Deer incisor and maybe a Bison incisor.

I think the far right tooth is a deer incisor.

The top tooth is a conundrum. I've been studying photos of manatee and baby mastodon teeth and can't come to a decision.
