We are attending the dig with the experts may 17th but will be in Hamburg for a couple of extra days collecting. Does anyone know the status of 18 mile creek?

If that is still posted are there any other sites near Hamburg?

I'm unsure of the status of 18 mike creek but it sounds like it will be a very good trip. I may be in that area and am interested in knowing about 18 mile creek as well.

i'll be looking to go out to18 Mile Creek soon,to check the water level, and see just how far the postings extend - as I recall, it was the beaches at the mouth of 18 MC that are posted, and not the creek, though I am sure that I'll need to keep out of all the cliff faces, and stick to the fallen material, there are still miles of creek there to walk. In any event, I will post my findings. :)

there are a couple more exposures I go to regularly I'd be happy to share, should you like to visit some new spots also :)

I was there last fall and the north side of 18 Mile Creek is now covered with no trespassing signs. The south side was still open but as you know water levels make accessibility questionable at times. Staff at Penn Dixie gave me suggestions for a few other locations in Hamburg but I never checked them out.

I'll be there too. Looking forward to this in a HUGE way!

I'm planning to stick around on Sunday, maybe another day at Penn or something else in the area or on the way back east....
