Large Vertebra From Peace River, Fl

I found this large vertebra yesterday in Florida's Peace River.

It measures approx. 4.5" tall and 4.5" x 5.5" across the top surface. I believe the textured surface indicates it is from a juvenile animal as the bony plate had not yet fused to the top of the vertebra.

Is it possible to know what type of animal it is from, ie whale or mastodon, etc.?

Yup, it's a vert. My guess would be mammoth or mastadon. Looks like some I have found and gotten an id for.

Hello my husband and i found on the peace river these white calcite looking peebles as wells as these circular small stones. I am new on here and not sure how to post the pictures. but I would like to know if anyone knows what these would be.
