I guess I'll start a thread to put my wooden sculpts in. I'll add to it as i finish more..

First up is a wooden Euyrpterid. Wood used: pine, poplar, walnut (veneer.)

Next up is a Semionotus I did for my friend (Fossildude19.)Wood used: Poplar, Cherry, Walnut (veneer.)

Im close to completing my Ordovician colab with my Dad, so thats coming up.

Those are sweet! Great job!

Are they mostly comprised of a solid wood base with small wooden accents?

yes, they are a solid wood (which I carve into shape) I add other woods for contrast and accents.

I can see the Eurypterid on governor Cuomo's desk since its our state fossil.
