Small Jaw With Teeth?

I think it could be a portion of a phyllocarid telson. A Kansas City area specimen for comparison:

Note the teeth-like bumps.

That sure looks like a match to me and I didn't expect that at all! Thanks so much!

I am going to go ahead and label it.. Love when that happens! Very nice telsons

Hi Missourian, could you tell more about phyllocarid telson, it's very interesting, i found this :

Unfortunately, I've seen only pieces of the phyllocarids so far. We've found carapaces too, but some or all could be thylacocephalans (flea shrimp).

No matter, you have determinated this unknown fossil at the beginning, bravo again ! Maybe we will find a complete specimen soon.
