Pandepon
I've become addicted to fossils now and just want to hunt for them every day but living in Central Maryland it isn't so easy for a full time student to get out and drive 1-2 hours to Calvert County Earlier this week I went to Calvert Cliffs and then several hours ago I went to Brownie's Beach since I hurt my leg and couldn't do the two mile walk at Calvert Cliffs State Park again Here are my findings! A bunch of little tiny things but still was pretty cool for a newbie fossil hunter
Miatria
Good stuff! I didn't start fossiling until I moved to Florida but I came here from the MO/KS area so I figure I missed out on a lot while I lived there. Congrats on your new hobby! Paleoworld-101
Great selection of little teeth! "In Africa, one can't help becoming caught up in the spine-chilling excitement of the hunt. Perhaps, it has something to do with a memory of a time gone by, when we were the prey, and our nights were filled with darkness..." -Eternal Enemies: Lions And Hyenas
obsessed1
Nice finds! You have several nice fossils there especially #3. It is a stingray barb if you didn't already know it. They tend to be fragile and aren't found often along the cliffs. Congrats! Edited April 18, 2014 by obsessed1
mkrofdrms
Pandepon, Very nice and well done, with time you will get good at it and your eyes will see more and more, keep at it and Megs, Makos and all kinds of goodies will show up for you; please be very careful at Brownies, talking about venturing about the corner, again good job and best of luck. jesus6_6
I live 15 min from there. It is getting very crowded, I enjoyed going there in the winter months. There is also a few places along the Potomac River in Charles County. I started collectin myself on Dec 4 2013
FossilDAWG
The nice thing about collecting yourself is no matter where you go, you can always find what you're looking for. Don
