Took the middle one back to the secret North Canterbury spot... it's been raining like mad lately - 2 nights before neighbours were getting flooded, we were joking about building an ark as I was digging a ditch to help drain water out of the house... Anyway, knew the beach must have been churned up so we went for a wander.. I finally found a crab that might turn out nice... some crab pebbles, bone pebble and an interesting bone that may only be modern.. Gave it a wee nibble with the engraver... Yep - definately a crab and should have the left pincer intact... WOO HOO!!! My best one so far. And a winter project to boot, this will take months!
