Carboniferouspat Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) This is my most recent sculpture I have made. I sculpt the original in clay. It usualy takes me a few months to complete a sculpture. When I am happy with the piece, I make a silcone mold of it. With the mold, I am able to cast a model in Urethane plastic. digsrocks73 Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 I just purchased one of these replicas but I bought the un-painted version. Thought I'd play with some other colors. I do like the orange though so might try a little shading with the airbrush. Think I will mount it on a piece of fossilized sea floor I have.
