Paleontologists carefully dig out ancient finds in Perris

With knives, screwdrivers, trowels and the occasional paintbrush, a team of paleontologists from the San Bernardino County Museum spent Monday carefully chiseling away dirt from what they believe are two Ice Age mastodon tusks, along with ancient bison and turtle fossils.

I thought that too, I'm assuming they either messed up an ID or some bison bones got mixed in some how.

O.K. now I am really confused ????... Was it found in Riverside county or the Channel Islands by Santa Cruz. :faint:
