bucky
Ok, hoping I don't keep wasting your time. I'm thinking dragonfly. Maybe worm? Plant? Found in farmer field. Bethlehem PA.

fossilized6s
Sadly no Dragonfly here. It looks like a burrow to me. ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG
Fossildude19
Agreed, no dragonfly. Sorry. It could possibly be a trace fossil, or burrow, or just an odd erosional feature. Fossildude19
Bucky, The best way to get into this hobby is to either find someone locally who has experience hunting in your area, who can show you what to look for, or to join a rock/mineral of fossil club in your area. You need to become familiar with the types of rocks that contain fossils, and what type of fossils can be found in your area. Here is a list for PA. LINK. An easy place to hunt is the St. Clair, fossil fern site. It's about an hour to the north west of Bethlehem PA. You could check out Deer Lake PA as well. Anyway, I hope this helps.
