I don't think it is fish material.

My first thought was some sort of plant material, something like Equisitites sp., or Neocalamites sp. Perhaps a decorticated stem/node, as evidenced by the hourglass type shape to it, but,... the ribbing in the imprint seems off to me.

Interesting.

Maybe trying to contact Paul Olsen at Columbia would be helpful.

EDIT : Bucks County is predominantly Jurassic/Triassic aged bedrock sediments.

Not too many shells of that size, that I know of, of that time period there.
