TheAshBee
Hey all, Here is an incisor I pulled out of some early-Pleistocene material down in SC. I think it might be raccoon, but I am not sure. Any takers? Thanks! (Let me know if the pictures are way too small...) EDIT: See larger pictures in post below!
RichW9090
Way too small. The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".

TheAshBee
Sorry guys....the upload said my maximum size was 17.9 KB. This has never been an issue with pictures before (especially from my DSLR) and these were just taken with my iPhone. EDIT: I had the pictures from a compressed file. Here some larger pictures: (The pictures rotate to the correct position when you click on them...)

TheAshBee
Thanks, Lee. It does look very similar to a raccoon teeth. Any other ideas from folks? Anyone have comparative specimens that show that S-shaped curve in the tooth?
