It looks perfectly like a fish, but I do not know what it is. Please find attached the photos of the same. It would be wonderful if you could help me in identifying what it is. Regards, Yes, I would agree and was just about to say that when Fossildude beat me to it. There are lots of plants that produce hard woody tubers with a starchy interior. If you Google for "Xanthosoma tuber" (known commonly as Malanga) you'll see similar examples, but I don't know what genus you have there.
