Fake?

Greetings! My aunt bought me a trilobite fossil recently and I am wondering about its authenticity. I was completely enamored with it at the store, but even then I was wary (and that was before I read up on the extent of trilobite faking) because of a few factors. Now I hope to goodness that there's at least a real fossil underneath the modifications, because I know what she paid for it O.O

Concerns: obviously painted, obvious modifications (eyes in particular), color of rock beneath fossil is different from base

Well, here's the pictures, let me know what you think!

Aside from being added to a matrix display base, minor paint / enhancement of margins and the eyes being absent, the rest of trilobite appears to be entirely authentic. Congrats on a fine example!
