Ostrecode From Aurora, Nc

Here is the first ostracode that I have ever found... YAY!!!

It was found in some of the Lee Creek / Pungo formation matrix that I brought home from Aurora, NC after this year's fossil festival.

The scale in the pictures is in 1/16 of an inch increments.

I was totally surprised when I "stumbled across" this.

You found a caecum which is a type of gastropod. It most likely came from the James City Formation.
