Auspex
I can say that it is not avian, at least, and that it might be a rib. zachj
Awh. Just thought this one could be a bird due to how thin it is. one day i will find a tooth over 3 inches in good conditon haha.
kauffy
Thinness of bird bones relates to the thickness of the bone wall, which is often supported by a lightweight honeycomb lattice within. I agree with auspex, not avian. I'm not familiar enough with fish bones but could be a spine?.... Or mammal rib as suggested? I'm sure someone will chime in. Non the less a good find. Boesse
It's a mammalian rib for sure.
