kauffy
I did a bit of searching on this forum and couldn't find anything quite the same (however I do apologize if this has already been discussed). That said, this is AWESOME! I discovered this easy to make smartphone microscope set up a few months ago and intend to make one asap. For around 10$ in materials and 20mins of labor the results are amazing. Check this link and watch the youtube video - http://www.iflscience.com/technology/how-build-smartphone-microscope-stand-10 It is just as easy to attach the focus lens over the back of your phone (which i trialed today with great success) below are some images of just how close you can get. The field of focus isnt amazing especially on curved objects but for something so cheap and simple the photos are quite impressive. Hope this helps some people when it comes to discovering those small things! snolly50
An excellent effort, good photos add so much to any post. A technique that helps others achieve better micro images and at a bargain price; well that's a great thing. Thanks.
