Devonian Jaw?

I thought this sort of looks like a jaw, but I'm well aware that things can get distorted and mingled with time. So my thoughts are that its probably not a jaw, but before I put it in my hmmm pile, I wanted to try and get some informed opinions. It' from Sugar tree, TN, and measures just under 1 inch across. Thanks for taking the time to look and for any input.

I think it is mineral, probably quartz.

Get more feedback, but I'm thinking quartz.
