RichW9090
Scale units? The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".

Max fragmento
Sure. That is why I ohotographed it on a scale and gave the scale units. One inch per numbered square.
RichW9090
It's small, so Odocoileus. Given the location, most likely a one or two year male Odocoileus virginianus. The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
Max fragmento
This piece was not found in Minnesota. Old guy bought it from a Russian trader when he was in Siberia but doesnt know where it was actually collected. The circumference just above the coronet is 8 inches. I have a modern adult moose horn and the circumference just above the coronet is 6.25 inches. It would seem too big for virginianus. Sorry I annoyed you Rich. I will try to improve my game. RichW9090
OK, then we have to leave it at Cervidae, indeterminate. You haven't annoyed me, Max. You'd know it if you did. I'm not shy. I get frustrated sometimes, but seldom annoyed. Keep posting! Rich The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
