Fossil Toe Bone?

I can't see the ends. If it is a toe bone, in is a reptile or amphibian. At also looks a bit like a mammalian distal caudal vertebra.

The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".

Tail bone, IMHO. The articulation surfaces are pretty simple.
