Searchinginthesurf
I found a five inch meg diving off Venice on Monday. On either side of the root there ia a small node comming out. Is this normal on bigger teeth or is this a pathology, species variation etc. It is to high up on the root to be cusp.
Auspex
that sounds like the sort of basal 'bumps' that often occurs on big gnarly megs. Are they serrated? Searchinginthesurf
Maybe I will have to make a trip to the museum. I would like to take a look at that jaw myself. But go to the restroom first.
tmaier
They have a "new" display room that is fantastic. It is a circular walk around through the geological ages of Florda, with real fossils and diorama displays. Very well done. Stop by the gift shop and check out the fossil books they have for sale.
