mikeymig Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 I just got a small parcel of trilobites that came with mislables or none at all. The first one is what I think is a Greenops widderensis. The second trilobite is what I think is a greenops from Swatara Gap. The third is from Morocco and the lable that came with it just said Phacops sp. (DUH). This is what I love about the forum. Swatara Gap is upper Ordovician so I'd say the preservation appears to be Mahantango Fm instead. That particular Moroccan phacopid is no longer called Phacops. Since there are multiple dorso-ventral lens files with 6 lenses, then Barrandeops lebesus is likely the best match. McKellar, R.C., & Chatterton, B.D.E.
