Possible Tooth Fossil?

Found this along the shoreline of Lake Erie. Looks rather smooth and stone-like in appearance.

Light grey in color with a darker top. Any thoughts if it might be a tooth?

Welcome.

That is a water worn piece of Rugose coral (Horn coral).

Nice coral piece!

On a side note..is that new quarter a Wisconsin quarter? If so you should check to see if the corn cob it where it's supposed to be. Flawed Wisconsin quarter in mint uncirculated sells for $90k...

Just thought I'd point that out!
