What Type Of Whale Tooth Is This?

I just received this today and was wondering what type of whale this tooth came from.

It is from a river located near Beaufort, SC.

The first photo is on a half inch grid.

The tooth measures 3 inches long by1 inch in diameter.

Probably a physeteroid sperm whale - interesting pattern on the crown. It looks like enamel, which would put this in the "Scaldicetus" grade group of archaic sperm whales.
