Auspex
Whatcha talking about, summer ending? Just turned spring here! Good luck have fun all. digit
I just left the Northern Hemisphere Bias (sticky South Florida) for a month's coral reef research on the Great Barrier Reef. It's definitely much more spring like down here (cooler in the mornings and quite breezy). That will be quite the challenge diving 3x/day for the next 30 days in 24C waters and then getting up to spend our surface interval between dives in a 25 knot wind tunnel. I just don't see why Australia doesn't just pass a law to sync their seasons with the northern hemisphere--it would make things so much simpler (whoever heard of Christmas in the middle of summer anyway). [Tongue planted firmly within my cheek in case it is not obvious.] Cheers. -Ken P.S.: So nice to have satellite internet onboard our research vessel....
