thair
I have been trying to decide how to display some of my crinoid cups. And here is what I came up with so far. I still have a few more to put on here.
fossilized6s
Looks great! Definitely not child "tested" though.... ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG

Uncle Siphuncle
Crinoid crown cornucopia...pretty cool. I'd keep it under glass so you don't have to dust it. Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."
JohnJ
I like your concept of using elevation for display. Good job, Tully. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
Roz
Very creative! I love how it looks. What is the base made of? Welcome to the forum!
thair
Very creative! I love how it looks. What is the base made of? Roz the base is just a old fishing trophy plack that i took the metal stuff off. It is wood that I drilled holes in then I sripped some electric cable. The copper wire made it easier to bend to fit the shape of each cup most of which are just setting on the wire so they can be removed and looked at or replaced. Ludwigia
Don't put it on the picnic table on a windy day, though... Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
thair
Don't put it on the picnic table on a windy day, though... I acctually have three grandkids, 6,4, and 3 years old that were at my house while I was working on this. It was very tempting to them but we avoided any desasters. I will be puting it on a shelf in my office that is high enough to avoid kids but the adults can still grab hold of it. I figure I can always put it back together. Thanks for the positive comments Edited September 5, 2014 by thair
