Ptychodus04 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 The thin piece on the opposite side of the dark feature looks like a weathered Sciponoceras gracile ammonite. That's all I can see in the pictures. The dark feature could be something. Can you get a clearer picture of it? There are oftentimes critters hiding in those concretions.
