After a couple glasses of moscato last night, I decided to color one of the ammonite linocuts I worked on last year with water colors:

To the uninitiated, a linocut is a hand-pulled print, done the old fashioned way: printed from a hand carved linoleum block on a graphics printing press with ink on paper. I can print the black and white image as may times as I care to, but each colored one will be unique.

It started out like this:

I like it. I might have to get another bottle of moscato for the next one.
