npelton13
A gentleman gave me this object and claimed it was a dinosaur egg fossil he found on his property in TN. It doesn't appear to be any type of geode I have ever seen, but i'm unsure if it is in fact a dino egg.

Auspex
It's a concretion, partially geodized. This sort of thing is very commonly taken to be a fossil egg, for obvious reasons. Arion
AFAIK the only dinosaur remains ever found in Tennessee were some hadrosaur bits in the 1940s, so any dinosaur material from there would be both extremely rare and important...but a concretion like that is easily mistaken for an egg. - Arion
